JSMW Pathshala registration is $200 / student.

Step 2: Parent Volunteering

Volunteering is a critical part of our Pathshala's success. Each parent volunteer is eligible to receive one $25 discount. You must complete the volunteering form BEFORE completing this registration in order to receive the $25 discount. Sign Up Genie Volunteering Link

Guidelines
1. JSMW Pathshala is for JSMW life members only.
2. Students must complete age 3 by the date of their county's school enrollment date (i.e. Sep 1st or 30th) for Nursery, and aligned by grade for the older classes.
3. Enrollment in pathshala is required for enrollment in language classes.

Payment Information
4. Payment can be made via Zelle (https://jsmw.org/supportjsmw/)
5. Pathshala Registration Donation is 100% tax deductible.
6. Payment Amount is determined by the date of registration (PLEASE NOTE - It is our goal to break even with Pathshala. Registration fees go towards school rental, books, and any nominal expense incurred by teachers.)

Schedule Information
7. 20 Pathshala classes will be held from Sep 2024 through Jun 2025 - 10:15AM to 12:30PM
9. Hindi & Gujarati Classes will be held on Pathshala days - 09:15AM to 10:15AM
10. Sutra classes will be held virtually. Class B1 through Class G students are eligible to enroll in sutra class.

Performance Information
10. Students enrolled in Class C1 or higher will be required to meet a 50% attendance quota. If they do not meet this quota, they may be asked to repeat the class the following year.
11. Students enrolled in Class C1 and higher who receive 80% marks or higher on their final grade will be recognized to have graduated with honors.
12. The Director of Education reserves full right to expel a student from Pathshala, during any part of the year, due to misconduct or inappropriate behavior. In such cases, there shall be no refund for the remainder of the Pathshala year.

13. Lunch is provided after each pathshala. 5-6 families will be grouped together by our Lunch Coordination team to coordinate and sponsor lunch for one of the twenty classes.

14. JSMW reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by JSMW, including but not limited to Pathshala, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. JSMW may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by JSMW including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc. A person attending a JSMW event who does not wish to have their image recorded for distribution should make their wishes known to the photographer, and/or the event organizers.

Lunch Sponsorship

Each registering family is expected to sign up for Pathshala lunch sponsorship. The average total cost for lunch per Pathshala day is about $1500. The total cost is shared by about 5 sponsoring families each class. Our lunch coordinator will work with you and help you find a group to sponsor lunch with.
